Counselling & Therapy in Fulham,
South West London
South West London
for Individual Adults and Teenagers
I am able to provide face to face and walk and talk sessions during Covid-19 lockdown.
I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor based in Fulham and I offer a safe place for one-to-one sessions for short or long-term counselling with individual adults and teenagers.
Counselling is a way to help you through challenging times. We all experience difficulties in life and there are times when things can feel overwhelming. Our thoughts and feelings can be too much to understand and this causes confusion, which can lead to anxiety.
I believe that it is my role as a counsellor to support you on your journey through self-discovery. In a calm and empathetic environment, I can provide you with a confidential space to explore these feelings, giving you an opportunity to re-examine your life and make new decisions.
My Approach to Counselling
I am a Humanistic Counsellor and I believe that we are all born to be good and make the best of our lives.
In my counselling work, I use Person-Centred, Transactional Analysis and Gestalt approaches. This means that I bring empathy and honesty to every session, and I will give you unconditional acceptance. I will relate to you with respect as an adult and remain fully present during our counselling sessions in order to support you as you explore your thoughts and feelings. Most importantly, I am a relational therapist and I believe the relationship that we form together throughout your journey through counselling is paramount in order to help you change and improve your life.
Some clients may benefit from mindfulness and meditation, and together we can explore whether that would be an appropriate tool for you.
I trained at the prestigious Metanoia Institute in London and I am an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and a member of the Metanoia Institute, London. I adhere to both the BACP Ethical Code and the Metanoia Code of Ethics.
I was born in Hungary and moved to the UK when I was 23. This has taught me a great deal about cultural differences and it means that I know what it’s like to feel like an outsider. I speak both Hungarian and English, and I can undertake counselling in either language.
I also have experience in helping people recover from narcissistic abuse. I understand that being in a relationship with a narcissist can erase your true self and almost steal your soul. When you come to me for narcissistic abuse counselling, I will give you very strong support to rebuild your self esteem and help you to recover from what you have been through.
Other areas I can help with
I am experienced in counselling clients who have difficulties with :
- Panic attacks
- Relationship problems
- Grief and loss
- Low self-esteem
- Recovering from a narcissistic relationship or abuse
Here to Help
For the past year, we have been riding a rollercoaster of lockdowns. Adjusting to new restrictions, and then the easing of those restrictions, can be difficult to cope with over and over again, and you may be feeling some social anxiety at the moment. The Mental Health Foundation have put together some useful information to help you cope with the changes.
